LOBUCHE EAST PEAK CLIMBING WITH EVEREST BC TREK

Lobuche east peak climbing with  Everest base camp trek is one of the best combinations of trekking and climbing adventures in Nepal. Lobuche East (6119m) is a must-explore peak in the Everest region which offers an interesting route for trekking as well as climbing. Seen from near Pheriche, the dark triangle of its rocky east face rises above the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to the icy skyline. This skyline forms the south ridges, the junction of the east faces with the glaciated south-west face and the line of the normal route of ascent. This, in turn, leads to the summit ridge running north-west from the top of the east faces through several small peaks in the east. The views of Amadablam, Cholaste, Thamserku, Kantega peak and Tawache peaks from the summit are superb. We follow the main Everest Base Camp trekking route and Lobuche Peak Base Camp sets up at 4950m near a lake in a rocky hollow at the base of the glaciated South-West Face. The views of Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Thamserku, Kantega and Tawache are superb from here. We climb steep stone terraces and snow slopes just beneath the main glaciers on the South-West Face of Lobuche East. We climb steep snow and ice slopes using fixed ropes and get access to the ridge overlooking Lobuche and the Khumbu Glacier where we fix the high camp

Our professionally designed itinerary takes you to the Everest base camp and then further to Lobuche east Peak which gives you enough opportunity to get acclimatized.
