Professional Climbing guides from Pioneer Adventure- Lakpa Sherpa and Mingma Dorchi Sherpa along with other 28 crew Sherpas and members have successfully scaled Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) this autumn 28th September. Manaslu is the world’s eighth highest peak at 8,163m above sea level. It is located about fourty miles east of Annapurna I. The name Manaslu is derived from the 'Sanskrit' word 'Manasa' that can be roughly translated as 'Mountain of the Spirit'. Climbing Mt. Manaslu is by far difficult and challenging. The expedition trail to Manaslu Base Camp is scenically and culturally most spectacular, passing through villages, valleys, rivers, and meadows.
