Mingma Dorchi Sherpa is the Co-founder and Director of Pioneer Adventure Pvt. Ltd. With a lifelong passion for adventure tourism, he embarked on his climbing career in 2009 at the age of 22. Since then, he has established himself as a responsible and professional expedition-leading guide.
Over the years, Mr. Sherpa has successfully summited most of the world's 14 highest mountains above 8,000 meters. His impressive achievements include climbing Mt. Everest seven times, Mt. K2 five times, Lhotse five times, Makalu four times, Manaslu four times, Dhaulagiri twice, Gasherbrum I (G-I) once, Broad Peak once, and Ama Dablam twice, all with different international expedition teams.
As the leader of expedition teams, Mr. Sherpa meticulously arranges all necessary services above base camp up to the summit. He maintains constant communication with the base camp to manage emergencies, monitor climbing status, and ensure all necessary supplies are provided above base camp. Notably, on May 27, 2019, he set a world record by successfully summiting two 8,000-meter peaks, Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse, within six hours (from top to top).
